Jorge has been an experienced professor of Higher Mathematics at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and along his career has performed as President and CEO of the Colombian National Exporters Association (“ANALDEX”); Minister of Economic Development; Executive Director of the Colombian Motor Company; Permanent Representative of Colombia before the International Coffee Organization; Head of Planning and Education Secretary for the Department of Cundinamarca; and General Director of the Colombian Agricultural Bank.

He has served as a financial expert in various arbitration courts, most notably with Cerromatoso-Compañía de Seguros; Coviandes-Invías; and Prosantana-UESP. Jorge was General Coordinator of the 1996 Americas Business Summit, held in Cartagena, where more than 1,500 business leaders gathered to draft recommendations resulting in the creation of the Free Trade Area of the Americas (“ALCA”). He is currently a specialized consultant in international trade and finances.
