Yenny Palacios

Yenny is a senior consultant of the International Trade Remedies and Commercial Policy Unit. She has more than 10 years of experience in international trade, public policy and corporate relations.

She worked as director of social responsibility for the Colombian Chamber of Oilfield Goods and Services (Cámara Colombiana de Bienes y Servicios Petroleros) -CAMPETROL.

Likewise, Yenny was the Institutional Relations Coordinator for the Techint Organization, which is comprised of important companies from the manufacturing and oil & gas sectors (Tenaris, Ternium, Tecpetrol and Techint Engineering & Construction). She participated in the planning and consolidation of the Institutional Relations Department for Techint Organization in Colombia, in matters related to corporate relations, public policies, reputational risk and social responsibility.

She held different positions in government institutions such as the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and the National Planning Department. In recent years, she served as an advisor to different guilds like the National Business Association of Colombia (Asociación Nacional de Empresarios de Colombia) – ANDI.

Yenny is an economist from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia with specialized studies in international relations & negotiations from the Universidad de los Andes.
